The Kindergym Program
Kindergym is a multi-movement based program designed specifically for pre-school aged children and their caregiver. The program promotes the development of the whole child – physically, socially, emotionally and cognitively, in a safe, structured, multi-sensory environment, indoors. Learning through play in a stimulating, non-competitive environment assists children to develop to their full potential in readiness for kindergarten, school and sports.
Each session is directed towards empowering your child with the skills and confidence to hang and swing, spin, balance, skip, climb, throw, crawl and jump. It helps to provide the foundations for a lifetime of positive attitudes towards physical activity. While having fun, children learn to move and move to learn.
Step into Gym (Kindergym Extension Program)
Step into Gym is a program designed for 4-6year olds who are not yet at school but want to take their gymnastic skills to the next level. Step into Gym does not require active parental participation but we do ask you stay to observe the session (from the allocated seating) and encourage your child during the session. Step into gym will teach your child the basic of gymnastics including but not exclusively shapes (rocket, star, tuck), skills (swinging, landing, rolling), techniques (how to master a skill properly), gymnastic language and everyday skills such as taking turns and following instruction.
Kindergym Days
Kindergym will run each Monday and Wednesday between 10am-11am (school terms only) in 2024. Step into Gym is currently running on Monday’s between 11.30am-12.30pm.
Come and Try session
If you are interested in joining a kindergym or step into gym class, please contact us via our public Facebook Kindergym Page or email info@natigym.com.au. We can arrange a ‘come and try’ session for a casual rate fee.
For first timers please arrive 10 mins prior to the 10am start time. If after the come and try session you would like to join, participants will need to complete the registration form and pay registration (this includes insurance.
Costs
An annual Registration fee of is payable upon joining the program. This provides affiliation with Gymnastics Victoria and insurance for the participant (child). A term fee applies for each term attended.

Fees are required to be paid within 2 weeks of being invoiced. Failure to do so may incur a late fee, suspension from participation, and possible referral to a debt collection agency.
Clothing
Please ensure that your child is dressed appropriately – comfortable clothing with no zips, buckles, buttons or jewellery (as this can damage the equipment and potentially injure the participant). Mid-length to long hair must be tied up. Please bring a water bottle (containing water only).
